SSgt. Christopher Pherson, a flight engineer with the 8th Special Operations Squadron, performs grounded flight simulation tests on a CV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft at Hurlburt Field. Ospreys are used for long-range infiltration, exfiltration and resupply missions for special operations forces worldwide.
